授業の到達目標 | One could view Japan's post-war development from a holistic perspective. One could discuss the interplay of Japan's economy, politics, and external constraints, along with the subtleties thereof. |
授業概要 | The economy of a nation cannot be analyzed without thoroughly considering its political landscape. By examining Japan's post-war development from a comprehensive, politico-economic perspective, the class will explore crucial issues to better understand what distinguishes Japan and what it shares with other countries. The subjects for discussion will encompass a range of areas, from post-war diplomatic and national security developments to societal challenges such as aging and womenomics. The class will not follow a traditional lecture format; instead, it will involve discussions based on extensive reading of papers. The language will be 365体育投注 throughout. |

授業計画 | The class will read papers relevant to a better understanding of Japan's politico-economic development in the post-war era. The class engages in discussions instead of merely receiving instructions.
